Drivers through a Warsaw intersection can expect narrow lanes for the next several months as road work begins to improve it. Missouri Department of Transportation crews will begin the project Monday at the intersection of Route 7 and Commercial Street. Lanes will be reduced to 10 feet wide as crews are scheduled to install new traffic signals and sidewalks, as well as a right turn lane from southbound Commercial. Crews will work weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the speed limit will be reduced to 35 miles per hour. The $729,000 project has a contract completion date of November first, but contractor Do-Right Construction of Lincoln expects to complete the project by mid-September.
