CLINTON ALUMNUS EARNS CORN SCHOLARSHIP

A college student from Clinton is one of seven recipients of this year’s Missouri Corn scholarships.  Matthew Wilson will receive the $1,000 scholarship from the Missouri Corn Growers Association and Missouri Corn Merchandising Council.  The scholarship will go toward Wilson’s studies at the University of Missouri, where he is currently studying plant science.  He is the son of Paul and Cecilia Wilson.

This is the twenty-third year Missouri Corn Scholarships have been available for high school and college students. Honorees must either be juniors enrolled in a Missouri four-year college or university pursuing a major in agronomy or related fields, or high school seniors planning to attend a college or university in the state, planning to major in agronomy or a related subject.  Students must also live on a Missouri farm or rural community.
