Three high school sophomores from our area will join 27 of their peers this June for a tour of agribusiness in the state.  Kraysen Leonard and Avery Schiereck of El Dorado Springs, along with Cooper Parsons of Warrensburg, have been selected to take part in the Missouri Agribusiness Academy, set for the first week of June.  Participants will tour the Missouri Department of Agriculture’s headquarters in Jefferson City before spending several days in the Springfield area.  The academy aims to educate students about the career opportunities in Missouri’s agribusinesses, animal health, farming and ranching.  Students were selected from an application and interview process.  This June’s tour will mark the 32nd year for the Missouri Agribusiness Academy.
