Just over 100 FFA members participated in this year’s Missouri Cattlemen’s Association speaking contest, which culminated at last weekend’s annual industry convention. Contest co-chair Brenda Black says one of the reasons the contest is popular is that many students are already involved the industry.
Six finalists competed at the convention in Columbia, with Aly Francis of Paris winning first place. Black says finalists will serve as ambassadors over the next year.
