When Wes Willbrand saw that his Asgrow beans yielded 95.61 bushels per acre on his east Saint Charles County farm, he wasn’t sure he was going to win this year’s Missouri Soybean yield contest. Willbrand said he was surprised when he got the call.
Willbrand, who utilized conventional till and no irrigation for his winning entry, said he benefited from a normally productive field and weather conditions that varied from the rest of the state.
